HOLY CRAP PEOPLE WE ARE ON THE CHARTS!!!

Pacen's MRI was cancelled at the last minute yesterday evening and rescheduled for 1 May. The imaging clinic said our insurance needed a longer time to review the case before approving it for Pacen. So, we still had to head to El Paso for his GI appointment; another waste of our time. Of course we get there 20 minutes early, and wait 20 minutes past our appointment time & we are seen for all of 5 minutes. In the waiting room there are the most annoying children running around being loud, plus a T.V. with Nickelodeon blasting out brain cell killing Sponge Bob Square Pants ...

Here is what Dr. Santos asks:

Dr. S: How is he eating? Oh! I see he's grown!
Me: He is eating great, and getting chubby!
Dr. S: How is he doing on his medication?
Me: Perfectly, Thanks to Dr. Harwood for special ordering it because our insurance does not accept brand name prescriptions. He has 1 or 2 reflux spells a day, and sometimes none, but otherwise great.
Dr. S: Great! Does he still vomit?
Me: He went from vomiting after each feeding to maybe once a week. He is doing so much better with that.
Dr. S: Do you have any questions?
Me: Since his reflux is being managed and treated perfectly and he is doing great, what is the longest possible time before we have to come back down here for an appointment since we have a 180 mile round trip? Dr. Harwood has to order his medications anyways.....
Dr. S: 4 months. Pacen, get chubbier by August! Ok? Bye bye now little smiley boy!

Yet, another waste of our time going to El Paso. I was sure to get the most bang for our buck driving down there doing the MRI & GI appointment in one day. Perhaps not!Pace has been running a low grade fever of 100.9 since we got home, not sure if its teething or getting a cold. Poor bubbs! I guess Pace and I will have to cuddle.

Merik got a stuffed duck from Grandma Reba, I mean, the Easter Bunny ... and he decided to name him Mike. 

Merik likes to change Mike's daiper, play with Mike with cars, pretend cook him for dinner and eat him with his kitchen in his room, & play ball with Mike. 

Pool. It was at BX. It's over there (can't everyone see him pointing to it?)  And, it has a ball.
