Albuquerque Weekend

Happy MAY!

May brings a lot of fun and excitement for us!
• Holloman celebrates 70 years in Alamogordo with a festival on the 11th with jumpy castles, hot dogs, Honor Guard performance, Air Force band performance, Raptor fly over and fireworks! Merik is going to love it!
• My first Mother's day as a mom to Pacen [out of utero haha] and my 3rd Mother's day as a mom to Merik!
• Pacen has a neuro appt on the 14th to read the MRI results with the doctor
• Family photos on the 20th! Check back for new fam pics of this crazy bunch towards the end of the month!
• Mr. Merik turns the big 0-3 on the 26th! I can't believe it has been 3 years since he was born!
• And for once, Merik has a doctor appointment! His 3 year well child visit on the 30th!

We headed up to Albuquerque for the weekend, the 4th-6th to meet up with Aunt Liz. Levi's cousin and his family also had moved back to Albuquerque so we visited with them and picked up some furniture while we were there. It was nice seeing Aunt Liz and getting to meet Levi's cousin and his family. We went out to lunch and devoured some of our favorite missed foods from Pita Pit & JJ's. On Saturday we had lunch with everyone, checked out the pet store, hit up the Albuquerque Zoo, went for a swim and [the adults] enjoyed some sangria and margaritas to celebrate Cinco de Mayo. On Sunday, we took Aunt Liz to the Airport, had lunch at the park with Boyd, Wendy & the kids, then loaded up the furniture and headed back to Alamogordo. It was an interesting trip back, the boys were ready to be done riding in the car.
