Ear Infections & Smiles

Pacen was seen on the 26th for Hand/Foot/Mouth and also had a viral ear infeciton. All of this past week he had been off balance, tugging at his left ear and Mr. Grumps. I schedule him another appointment with Dr. Garcia, he was the only one available today. Pacen has a double outer ear infection and a "nasty" left middle ear infection. Awesome. Now he's on antibiotics and drops for 7 days. Yes, 7 days is all he wrote the script for. I betcha my last dollar that he will be back for another appointment after the antibiotic time frame is done. Today was appointment #37 for this kid. A week shy of 10 months and he's been to the doctor more times in his life than I have in mine! He is in good spirits, so hopefully this antibiotic will kick the infection. Oh, also, his constipation medication dosage was increased last week, now he takes an adult dose of miralax to be able to poop!
