Albuquerque time!

We had such a busy weekend! On Friday morning we packed into the cars and headed to Albuquerque to see the International Balloon Fiesta. There were 550 hot air balloons and 102 of those were special shapes. It was so cool to walk around this huge field while balloons were being inflated right beside you and all around. Merik loved it! Pace slept for most of it but caught a few balloons going up around him as well. We had so much fun and it is definitely something to experience. If you are ever planning a trip to Albuquerque,  plan to attend this event!

On Saturday evening, Wendy, Cynthia, Jennifer & I went to tea at St. James Tearoom in Albuquerque. It was really fun. We were served 3 different teas, and an assortment of finger foods, scones and desserts. I've never been to anything like this tea room before. I did buy a package of pumpkin pie tea before we left, that was my favorite one! 

 There was this tasty lemon curd that went well with the butter biscuits, or just a spoon.

 Here are a couple more pics from our ABQ trip. We always hit up Five Guys for burgers while we are visiting Albuquerque. Then we walk across the parking lot to the pet store so the bos can see the birds and bunnies. Pace was getting a kick out of Levi being bitten by this little bird. Merik had fun being in this bubble on water while at the balloon fiesta. I think we need to invest in one of these for our house, it wore him out!
