Feeding rehab & Neuro

We buzzed up to Albuquerque last night and arrived just in time to tuck everyone in bed for the night. Pace did well at feeding rehab this am. He ate 1/4 c oatmeal, 2 bites of breakfast bar, an apple slice and some juice. He tried some yogurt but wasn't really into it. Over all good session, and he didn't even gag!

We headed over to the Neuro, she is keeping his med the same for now, and now we wait for a new Neuro in St. Louis....... I'm really dreading starting over with all of the doctors. Dr Williams from the ecep team called me today and she was in contact with the Neuro to order Pacen's metabolic bloodwork. We got the bloodwork taken care of today, but we also have to catch some pee before we leave Albuquerque and run it back to the lab. Sounds fun, huh?

Pacen didn't even cry when he got his blood drawn, just a few whimpers and he was fine. He is a trooper, and the lab tech was even a student (she did great!). Pacen got a dinosaur from the lab and off we went.

The wind picked up this evening and we all have runny noses and sinus headaches. Enough said. Goodnight!
