24 Hour EEG & MRI

Pacen was such a trooper, he sat so nicely for the techs to start his EEG. For being hooked to a 25' cable and electrodes all over his head, he was pretty patient with everything. I think he enjoyed being able to use the iPad all day without Merik taking it from him.

The epileptologist came in Friday morning after Pacen was unhooked and let us know there was no seizure activity detected during the EEG (I didn't figure there would be since he's been decently controlled since the spring and only has questionable behavior during high fevers, such as twitching or staring) and that we can wait for our neuro to check out the MRI images and compare with the EEG from October. Pacen was in a great mood and responded well to the epileptologist and the fellows coming in for the exam.

After his EEG was over he was taken down for the MRI, he did really well during the MRI. He was pretty groggy afterwards, but by 3pm he was back to himself. We left the hospital around 345 and headed home :) it will be nice to get a good nights sleep tonight.
