2 Month Stats
7 lbs 12 oz
21.5" long

Today we had Pacen's 2 month well child visit. Dr. Harwood always asks if we are sick of seeing him yet since we are there every week haha. He is a pretty cool pediatrician to have and Pacen is starting to recognize him more each time we visit. I'm happy to announce he weighed in at a WHOPPIN 7 lbs 12 oz & 21.5" long!!! He is 6 oz up from last week on Friday. He is still below 0% on the growth charts, but a 6 oz gain is epic for a teeny guy like Pacen. He is still wearing newborn sized clothes that fit him perfectly but are getting a big snug for length. I have a feeling that 3 month clothes will be in our near future! Go, Pace, Go!

Today we discussed Pacen's intake, and he decided that staying at 2 oz of breast milk with 1 teaspoon of formula to make each ounce 25 calories was working out well for him. If he eats anything over 2 oz he tends to be quite spitty, and we can't afford to lose any extra calories that way. We also talked about his immunizations, since he is still so small we are going to wait until 3 months to get them done.

Dr. Harwood told us that if Pacen plateaus with his weight or loses any significant amount then he will head to the Albuquerque Children's Hospital to go through more testing with more specialists there. But that is only if he plateaus or loses weight for a significant amount of time.

Look at my big boy sitting in his bumbo chair! He loves to sit up and look around. Such a sweet boy!

Tomorrow we head to El Paso for an appointment with Dr. Santos, the Pediatric Gastroenterologist, check back tomorrow evening for another update!
