This waiting process is nerve wracking. 4 more days to see how much Pacen weighs, to see if the 27 calories/ounce feedings are working, and if Pacen has grown in length. Pacen will be 3 months old on Thursday the 19th. He is still wearing mostly newborn clothing with the exception of some 0-3 month jammies depending on brand they run a bit smaller and actually fit. He can still get his legs out of the legs of the jammies and up into the torso part of them with no problem. Today is a bath day because he vomited his first feeding of the day and now smells like bile.
We have been slowly getting claims from insurance from all of Pacen's hospital stays, appointments to the GI specialist and tests. Not everything has been sent to insurance yet, but so far his grand total is $22,276.20 from the claims we have gotten in the mail so far. All I have to say is thank goodness for Tricare. As difficult as they can be to get things authorized on a timely manner, they certainly do cover everything!
