We ventured down to El Paso Friday the 6th for Pacen's GI follow up appointment to hear the results of his GI Series, Gastric Emptying Scan & blood work.
Dr. Santos told us that his Gastric Emptying scan & GI series were great, and he emptied his belly in a good amount of time. His stomach is a good size and he didn't see anything besides some reflux and vomiting in the scan. He also said his blood work looked good. Pacen can't really get any more tests done quite yet, he is too tiny for them still. I don't know what those tests would be, but I'm hoping we don't have to go through another round of testing. We got a slip of paper to meet back with Dr. Santos in one month, he said to Pacen, "Come back chubby when we meet next! Ok? Bye bye now!" Our appointment is 10Feb2012. Dr. Santos is a jolly man.
I was going to update earlier today, when I thought I would have a minute of time, but Merik decided otherwise. Today he dumped a bag of chips on the kitchen table when I went to the restroom for 35 seconds. Later he thought it would be fun to mix up half a can of formula [the formula we use for Pacen's calorie supplement] into a mixing bowl and put it into the microwave. Oye. He keeps me on my toes.
