We rang the new year in with some of our friends, their daughter & kiddo to be in February. Merik was ready to call it a night around 11pm, put his boots on and told us it was time to go! Haha! Pacen didn't make it to midnight, he was dreaming the new year away snuggled up with me on the couch after he exploded his diaper for daddy, so thoughtful :) Happy New Year DAD!
Pacen is 11 weeks old today, its hard to believe it has been 11 weeks already since our little guy arrived!

2 1/2 Month Stats
8 lbs 4oz
21.5" long
38 cm head circ.
He has gained 8oz, .5 cm in head circumference since 22Dec and his length has plateaued for the last month. Pacen is still well below 0% for weight, but we are working on it, slowly, but surely. Dr. Harwood and I discussed his calorie intake and he decided it would be good to up the calories to 27/oz from 25/oz to see where that gets us in 2 weeks. I tell you what, if these power boosts of calories don't do the trick, I don't know what will! 27 calories per ounce is about as high as we can go. He will take in about 650 calories per day on this new supplement. I don't think models eat that many calories in a day! I hope Pacen tolerates the calorie boost ok. He goes back on the 18th for his next weight check.

Pacen got his first set of immunizations today. He did pretty well getting the shots. He hated being held down, but only cried for a few seconds when it was over. Our favorite med tech was with him today for his immunizations. She is always so excited to see Pacen and gets excited that he is gaining weight. We are at the clinic enough with him, he has a lot of ladies in his fan club following his progress. :)
For a size comparison, the red onsie is a newborn size.
We got a call from Dr. Santos' office today, his follow up appointment to read blood work results, the uppet GI series, and gastric emptying scan results will be Friday 6 January at 1030am.
