Pacen had a huge weight jump, 14 ounces in two weeks! We are thrilled! He also gained 1/2" in length and 1/2 cm in head circumference.

3 Month Stats:
9 lbs 2 oz
22" long
38cm head circ.

While he is still below 0%, we are hoping this 27 calorie/ounce concoction will get him on the charts at some point. Pacen was up all night last night with his reflux. This was the first time it has ever really bothered him. He will spit up from time to time, but nothing that causes him vomit and cry like he was last night. Of course, yesterday at his appointment Dr. Harwood asked if he was bothered by his reflux and needed medicine for it. I said that he wasn't bothered by it and didn't seem to spit up much (after switching to soy supplement as well). Last night was Pacen telling me that he needs some reflux medicine. Our next appointment won't be until 10Feb with Dr. Santos in El Paso. Dr. Harwood said he feels great about Pacen's weight gain that he feels comfortable enough to let Pacen go until his 4 month well baby check for his next weight check! He probably saw me in shock when he said that because he then said "But if you want to come back in 2 weeks, we can schedule it too! Whatever you want to do." Holy wowza! A whole month?! This will be a good time frame to get Pacen really packing on the pounds! I am positive that he is over his slow start, and that he will start to grow, grow, grow!

Here is Pacen's growth chart. You can see how he is following the black line at the bottom in the royal blue area. Dr. Harwood said that an average 3 month old boy weighs around 13 lbs. I'm just happy that the line continues to go up, and not down. He will get there. Slowly but surely. He may surprise us one day and we will wake up to a chubby boy!

Height

This is Pacen's height scale. He has been on this one more so than his weight scale. He has a lot of catching up to do here. An average 3 month old boy is about 24" long. Pacen is 22" long.
