Today we had Pacen's neurology appointment with Dr. Woody. Dr. Woody brings his dog to the office, I like him. This is a new specialist that we are seeing for him. It was mostly a "get to know me" appointment, talking about his birth, and past 4.5 months of life, and medical history to date. After discussing everything he recommended Pacen use the ECI (Early Childhood Intervention Program) to work with him on his high muscle tone. The muscle tone was what sent us to the neurologist in the first place. Dr. Woody said that since Pacen is a happy, healthy, curious little guy, there is no urgent reason to jump into testing with EEG's MRI's CT's or blood work. He said that if there is any issue, it could be 100 different things, or nothing, but whatever it is, it is already established & won't change in a month. We are going to see how ECI goes for a few weeks and meet back with him in a month when I can collect copies all of Pacen's records from Dr. Harwood's office & Dr. Santos' office. So, I guess we will see what ECI brings & Pacen's follow up in April. You can see Dr. Woody's website here. The photos across the top rotate, and the dog on the green plaid blanket is the one that comes to work with him.
