15 Month appt went well. Dr H is helpful as always!
15 Month stats
21 .4 oz (10th %)
79 cm (I'm going to remeasure him at home since he was only 76 cm last week, someone's is a bit off haha)
The overall appt went well. Despite Pace pulling at his left ear all of the time, it was completely clear. We went over the basics of what he does and doesn't do, and Dr. H was happy we were ahead of the game and he was already evaluated by Zia (therapy center) for delays (even though we only wanted to talk to the dietitian at this time, oh well) Dr H said Pace has until 18 months to walk before he sends kiddos to therapy. He submitted the referral for rheumatology, and wrote Pace a script for the formula. I've already called 4 places and they don't know what I am talking about, so now we have to get a letter of medical necessity for appeal and submit that and wait up to 90 days, which defeats the purpose of him having supplemental formula for the current time being. So I called the UNM GI to leave a message and sent Dr. H and email quick to see what can be done about this. Hopefully it doesn't take too long. Surely Pacen isn't the only child in this town that needs special formula. It is over the counter, but at $40+ a can, that is REALLY expensive when our insurance can cover it.
