Rheumy update + more

I got a call back from the rheumatology nurse, and all of Pacen's blood work came back negative for any autoimmune disorders. The only thing we need to follow up with is the reynauds disorder (turning purple in his limbs) for monitoring every 3-6 months. Such good news to hear :)

Unfortunately, Levi and I made some big family decisions over this past weekend and week. I've decided to step down from my position at work and stay at home with the kids. It was a really hard decision to make, but, we need to do what is best for the kids. It is really hard to find daycare around here for a child with special needs, and most places don't want that responsibility or have already failed us in the past. It will be a big ball of mixed emotions for me in the next few weeks, to leave something I love and have been doing for the past 2 and a half years behind, my second family and the place I called home M-F 0730 - 1630.  Enough of the mushy stuff.

We are hoping to get Merik into a part day pre school so he can continue to grow with his social skills,  make new friends, and get into a good routine. After our roof situation is fixed (we should be hearing from the lawyer soon) we are going to apply to be reassigned to a base that can accommodate Pacen's medical needs or have them a lot closer to what we are driving now. We don't exactly have a timeline of when this is all happening, and we won't know where we are going until the packet is submitted and they reply. Once the packet is submitted it gets sent out to 5 different bases that have Levi's career field and if one of them replies back with the need of his rank in his career and they have the medical services available, that is where we will be sent. Sounds kind of sucky, to not know where we will be going, but it is what it is.
