Just when we thought everything was under control ...

He has the best hair.

Pacen had a seizure this week on Wednesday morning [28July]. The Neuro in Las Cruces got him in on Friday [yesterday]  and he confirmed that Pacen did have a seizure. Pacen is OK and doing great, he bounced back pretty quick from it. He does not have the convulsing type seizures, he gets zoned out, passes out and then his arms and legs are jerky, and the whole seizure lasted roughly 10 min from start to finish. Dr. Woody said that this seizure tells them that he has a very, very mild brain damage from birth due the fact that he still has high muscle tone, and ankle clonus (fast shaky involuntary movements in his ankles/lower legs.) He even had a clonus during our office visit. I chose not to medicate him for now, due the fact that he's only had 2 seizures that we know of. Dr. Woody felt that was a very reasonable way to go about treatment for him. I think that is all for now. We've had a busy week!
