That is literally all I know so far. That our EFMP packet is approved. Now it is in the hands of the decision makers as to where we will be going, and when. GREAT NEWS!
I also got a call from the Pediatrician from the ECEP team! They are a team of pediatricians, psychologists, speech-language pathologists, physical therapists and occupational therapists.
They address concerns related to developmental delay, complex medical
conditions, autism spectrum disorders, cerebral palsy,
behavioral/regulatory issues, and other specialized evaluation questions
for children ages birth to three.
We've been waiting for several months to get an appointment with this team. They are out of Albuquerque, through UNM, but we have to be referred to them through Pacen's therapy center. They started the paperwork for it before Pacen turned 2! I was so happy to finally get that phone call from the pediatrician today! They are traveling to Alamogordo the 2nd week of February, so we will be seen for 1/2 a day between the 11-13 of Feb.
