Pacen's Room

I've been getting each room decorated bit by bit, but this weekend we really tackled Pacen's room! It turned out so cute.

I bought white sailcloth (fitting) curtains from Walmart and painted navy blue stripes on them with acrylic paint. I'll probably never do that again, for the record. The anchor is from Target's new line of wall decals for the spring & summer. Levi did a great job of hanging up the curtain rod for me!

This is his wall decor above the dresser. Shout out to Hobby Lobby & Gordman's for their themed sections of decor for ease and accessibility to pick out the accessories!

I decided to get really crafty and design some pallet art out of the headboard that Levi and I made 2 years ago. The headboard came apart quite a bit from our move to Illinois, so we decided to scrap it and use it elsewhere.

Then Levi helped me by cutting it apart and making it into a rectangle 24x36"

Then the fun began. I drew a whale onto some paper, and measured it all out. This whale was a little scrawny.

So I had to beef him up a little...

Then I traced the drawing with chalk onto the pallet.

And finally, the painting begins.

Levi attached it to the wall
