St. Louis Children's GI

After a 2 hr appt with the GI fellow, Dr Soufi, she brought in an intern with her as well. As you know, he has an extensive gi history, so we spent a lot of time on his history. She looked over all of his lab work, records, asked more questions and did an exam. 

Every time anyone listens to Pacen's heart they say how strong and loud his murmur is. He was cleared by cardiology in January 2013 at UNM after an echocardiogram showing that it was an innocent murmur. 

After his exam was over, Dr Soufi went to get her superior attending. They came back in about 10 min later with Dr Rothbaum and another intern to see Pacen. So here we are, in this tiny little exam room, 4 adults, 1 kid, 1 stroller, exam table, and some chairs. Tight quarters haha. 

Dr. Rothbaum was happy to see that Pacen is following his growth curve, looking healthy and acting happy despite his 4" thick binder of medical records he just flipped through. (Thank you Elacare Jr formula) He is going to call the allergist on base and the pedi, to get everyone on the same page and come up with a plan.

So now we wait for all of that to happen, and get a phone call on what we do next. Hopefully that will be within the next few weeks. 

His next appt will be 4 June with the rheumatologist.
