Dog fostering, Take One.

We have taken a plunge into dog fostering, we provide the home and love, they provide the health care, food, and create. There is a dog rescue program in Alamogordo that rescues dogs, takes care of their shots, spay/neuter, health checks and then gets them ready to be adopted. If they don't have a foster home they are boarded until they can find one, or are adopted. We picked Shadow up on Monday 28 May. Tucker was a bit confused at first when we brought home this little tri-colored aussie mix. He was J-E-A-L-O-U-S! But, after two days of slowly integrating Shadow into our family, Tucker has become quite fond of the little guy, even though he towers over him. Shadow is only about 15 lbs ... so, about the size of Pacen, haha! He has a great temperament and is such a good little dog. Levi keeps joking that we need to do a 1 for 1 trade, and trade in Tucker for Shadow! Shadow doesn't go crazy in the house or knock Merik over. He is so calm and sweet.
