I got the cake from the commissary, it is 18 cupcakes decorated into a baseball [obviously] but anyways, when I went to pick it up, the cake order was misread, and instead of the bakery thinking I needed it at 1130, they thought I needed it at 130 so it was not done yet. The cake lady decorated the cake really quick [workmanship shows...] and then took $5 off of the price. $6 birthday cake, I think so!
Merik was thrilled and loved it!

It was a good day! We had several of our family friends come by for pizza, cake and swimming at the pool on base. Merik had a blast and loved all of his gifts! He got the Chipmunk movie, 2 remote controlled Jeeps, a football, baseball, dodge ball, dinosaur, Spider man air plane, blow up jet ski for the pool, a Cars book, transformers, a dirt bike and glow in the dark markers. Levi ate a lot of pizza and swam with Merik, Pacen loved being at the pool, and I got burnt sitting under a pavilion in the shade... go figure!
