Marathon Week: Day 3

0800 feeding rehab: Pacen was not cooperative, he didn't want to eat. He finally gave in and ate one bite of bagel with cream cheese. He didn't do well drinking last night and do we tried a lot of liquids today. Even just drinking juice out of a little 2oz cup was practically the worst thing you could get him to do. Mind you, he ate 3/4 of the bottom of a bagel about 14 hours prior and refused his night time formula. You'd think he would be starving and gobble it down, but he has other plans. There was lots of turning his chair around to ignore pinching and him screamin at us. Oh Pacen, if you only understood this therapy was for the better. 

1100 am feeding rehab: Pace did a little better, still refused liquids, and only ate a few bites of ham and tuna salad. He had a lot of time with his chair turned backwards for bad behavior at the table. That's about it on the feeding portion of the hour, the last 15-20 min he played with the weighted ball that is about as big as he is, rolling forward on it so he feet come off of the ground. 

After the 2nd feeding session we headed to the mall to get the boys' photos taken at JCPenny. They were SO good for the photographer, and listened so well. She had 15-20 poses done between both of them and photos together in less than 20 minutes! Levi and I were astonished! They got to ride on the carosaul in the mall after we got done with pics. 

4:00pm feeding session: Pacen tried pizza again, his pizza consists of some type of safe bread, tomato sauce or paste, ham and cheese. He ate 1/2-3/4 of one half of the bagel. He tried some apple straws, but wasn't really keen on them, tomorrow is another day. He did really well sitting in the chair, and we only had to turn him from the table 3 times. Much improvement from lunch. I think that is all for the day. Today was exhausting and hoping tomorrow goes well so we can end this week on a good note.
